Hydrograph Routing & Basin Analysis ROUTE - Flood Hydrograph Routing, Basin Design.
This program is used to design open and closed channel structures and to perform hydrology calculations and analyses.
1 - Rational Hydrology method programs are used to calculate storm run-off using the Rational Method.
2 - Unit Hydrograph method programs are used to calculate storm run-off using the Unit-Hydrograph Method.
3 - Flood Hydrograph routing is used to perform storm run-off routing calculations, and is designed to assist the engineer in designing or evaluating channels, retarding basins, flow-by basins, or computing and displaying the resultant hydrograph after routing it through a channel, or combining the resulting hydrograph with another hydrograph.
4 - General hydraulics (Irregular channel, Trapezoidal, Box, Pipe, Weir, Street, Street Inlet, Pump, Turbine). This program is used to calculate either the flow capacity or the amount of flow in Irregular-shaped, Trapezoidal, and Box channels, in Pipes, and through Weir structures. The program can also calculate flow rates for up to 10 channel structures in a system, in either pressure or non-pressure flow, through a range of up to 100 depth steps. The program also analyzes street flow, with or without street inlets, and analyzes Pump/Turbines.
5 - Single pipe flow, pressure/non-pressure is used to quickly evaluate a single pipe under pressure or non-pressured conditions using various types of conditions.
6 - Sanitary Sewer Network Design/Analysis is used to design a new sanitary sewer system or to analyze flows in an existing system. In the design mode, the program calculates and tabulates the flow in each line and the total flow in the system, and calculates pipe sizes, slopes, and invert elevations. The analysis model, evaluates an existing system, determining pipe capacities (depth of flow) throughout the system.
